Assessing neural coordination of reaching movements using Haptic Master
An experiment using the Haptic Master to assess the neural coordination of reaching movements in healthy young adults. The project was supervised by Tjeerd Boonstra (FPN) and Jeroen Vermeulen (FHML & Neurology MUMC+). In this study mobile EEG and EMG were recorded to assess intermuscular and corticomuscular coherence as markers of neural coordination between brain and muscles. The study served as pilot study for a subsequent study involving children with a movement disorder (Dystonia).
